The name Resilient You Therapy was chosen because at the core, those who choose therapy are starting their path toward resilience. It is the ability to find the courage needed to heal wounds and relationships; The power to learn and understand your purpose and meaning despite any obstacles you may have encountered throughout your life. Resilient You is the way you become the person you have only dreamt about, or learn new skills and tools to navigate life's transitions, or gain a new perspective. We are ready and willing to help you with empathy and compassion.

Who is Resilient You Therapy?
I, Hector Velazquez #132526, am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the beautiful state of California. I strive to bring you authentic, values driven therapy. Some of the areas I am passionate about helping people eating disorders, anxiety, LGBTQIA+, relationships, identity, trauma, and BIPOC issues.
Before becoming an LMFT I worked in education for 15 years special education teacher, behavioral interventionist, and coach. Due to my extensive background working in education I can help provide guidance for families with educational questions or concerns from elementary to college.
